Not sure if you care but Toad's Place is in New Haven, CT. Not Newport. I caught SD there back in May

I would say something old, something new:
Toad's Place - Newport, CT July 28th 1992 SBD
UC Davis: Rec Hall - Davis, CA June 8th 2005
I really do appreciate it and I'll be happy with whatever :

Okay,
I guess we can consider the voting closed. Looks like the vine is gonna be for:
Toad's Place - New Haven, CT July 28th 1992 SBD
The Catalyst - Santa Cruz, CA September 14th 2003 SBD
Even though some people clearly didn't read the preface and voted for more than 2 selections, I'm gonna be nice and still allow 'em to join the vine.
I also got about 25 emails that went something like this: "Hi, could you send me (insert show of choice here) it doesn't look like what I want is gonna win, thanks." I gotta say, I think I'm being pretty generous offering and spearheading this thing in the first place. So, sorry but I will not be fulfilling any "special orders." And nice try to everyone that asked to be first on the list.
Anyway, the Toad's Place show has been referred to as a soundboard recording but a rough one at that. It sounds a little distant and there is some hiss, but overall it is a clear recording. The performance on the other hand is great and is pretty representative of a SMBH&H tour show. Standouts include: Lude Boy, When She Begins, 99 To Life, and 1945. Also, the rarities Shame On Me and Ready For Love (original incarnation of It's Alright) are performed.
Toad's Place - New Haven, CT 7/28/92 1 disc 78 min
Lude Boy / The Creeps / Ring Of Fire / Bad Luck / Let It Be Me / Drug Train / MLM / Making Believe / Prison Bound / When She Begins / 99 To Life / Cold Feelings / Ball & Chain / Shame On Me / Ready For Love / 1945 / Born To Lose
The Catalyst show is a soundboard as well. It is overall very clear although there is some distortion during the louder parts. Drums, bass, and vocals are most prominent in the mix while the guitars are a little too low. Regardless, it is still a very enjoyable show. Stadouts: Three songs from SL&RR are performed prior to the recording/release of the album. Also in the set, the rarities "The Harder They Come" and "Shame On Me."
The Catalyst - Santa Cruz, CA 9/14/03 2 discs 90 min
Intro / MLM / The Creeps / When She Begins / Making Believe / Telling Them / Bad Luck / I Wasn't Born To Follow / Sick Boys / Footprints On My Ceiling / Ring Of Fire / The Harder They Come / Don't Take Me For Granted / Prison Bound / Don't Drag Me Down / Shame On Me / Story Of My Life
Look for a post titled "Trading Tree - Signups" in the next few days. All the rules/requirements/procedures will be detailed and signups will begin.
If this goes well, I am not against setting up another vine in the future. My collection is limited though, and my hope is that others will follow suit and offer some shows from their collections as well.
So, check back for the signups page in the next few days and this thing should be underway shortly.
Thanks to everyone that voted.
